These are the biblical values and issues that will help direct me personally, as a  follower  of Christ, as I vote, encourage and pray for our nations leadership.  Christian freedom of practice - nationally and globally (1 Timothy 2:2, Acts 4:18-20). Restraints on abortion (Psalm 139:13-16, Exodus 21:22-25). Protecting and enhancing the biblical family (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Economic stewardship (Psalm 82:3-4, 2 Timothy 2:6).  Global human respect and dignity (Genesis 1:26, Proverbs 31:8-9, Colossians 3:10-11). Character and Integrity of leadership (Proverbs 8:15-16, Proverbs 29:2, 4, 12). 

Be Careful With Those “Biblical Diets"!  And Other Weird Stuff People Make Up From The Bible "Eat this! Don't eat this!" There seems to be an abundance of diets out there today attempting to help the person desiring to be more healthy. With that, there are many well intentioned followers of Christ who have just the right "biblical" plan for us to achieve that goal. For fun, try to Google "Biblical Diet" and see the multitudes of diets, each telling us their’s is God's  original  plan. It's rather interesting to see how passionate many become with these diets. They live and breathe focused upon their diet, consumed to the point of it becoming an idol.  Our response to these "biblical diets" is often, "Well, it's in the Bible. Where Are We Headed As A Nation - 22 Predictions Let me say at the outset, I’m not a prophet. I don’t own a crystal ball, dabble in astrology or read tea leaves. Nor am I a futurist. But, as many others, I can still make some logical projections as to the course of human events based upon biblical insight of human behavior in regards to patterns of current decisions being made and pushed in our society. Sports, as well all public schooling, will cease to be divided by boys and girls or men and women. Mothers Day and Fathers Day will no longer be officially celebrated.  The terms "mother" and "father" will be removed from legal and cultural terminology.  Sex between adults and teens will be legalized.  Government will determine our death if we become “too old” and “too expensive” to keep alive.  Incest will be legal.  Polygamy will be legal -
